Pokhara University Faculty of Humanities and Social Science admission open notice for PhD in Development Studies

Pokhara University has published a notice about new admission in Doctor of Philosophy in Development Studies. Those with Masters degree in any field with two years work experience with 3.0 out of 4.0 CGPA or high second division 55 percent, one year work experience who have passed Masters level with 3.3 out of 4.0 CGPA or first division, no work experience with 3.75 out of 4.0 CGPA or distinction division are eligible for applying. Admission will be merit based on the entrance exam result of 100 full marks based on research aptitude, conceptual knowledge of development studies, quantitative ability, logical reasoning, English proficiency and essay writing. Entrance test will be followed by an interview round, statement of purpose, research synopsis, academic achievement and research and publication published evaluations.The date for submitting application is 25 August 2024. Entrance exam on 29 August 2024 at Academic Complex Pokhara University. Final result on 30 August 24’. Admission dates are from 1st to 8th September 2024. Orientation program of Program Orientation is 15 September 2024.
