RFID identification library established from Foreign Minister of Nepal
Tribhuvan University(TU) had a monumental day recently becoming the first RFID library Management system of the Country for book distribution and retrieval process for the users of TU library from now on. Nepal and India’s Ministers Mr Narayan Prasad Saud and Mr Jaishankar together inaugurated the venue at TU during a ceremony on 5 Jan 2024. The dignitaries also inaugurated virtually 25 schools, 32 health institutions, and a monastery that is earthquake resistant which are on the doctrines of bilateral agreements between the two countries. Mr Saud also shared the good news that from 2000 students can use newly constructed library buildings for their reference and thesis works. The building is also disabled-friendly and designed with a lift and toilets.
